Cafe on the Ave
For my first time at Cafe on The Ave, my friend and I split a delicious selection from the breakfast menu as well as a slice of chocolate cake. My favorite part, though, was the London Fog tea.

U:Don
I loved how there was a buffet-like section where you could just grab the side orders that you wanted and although the portion size of felt too big, the noodles and broth tasted great.

The Block
The dishes were fairly authentic to what they should taste like and I was surprised that the kimchee was actually pretty fermented. I love how they embraced the Korean culture of variety in foods.

Cafe on the Ave Pt. 2
I tried lunch at Cafe on The Ave where I had the pasta. It was probably one of the freshest pastas I've ever had in my life; it reminded me a lot of the pasta my mom makes at home.

Chicglet
Chicglet is a more affordable version of Chimac, another restaurant I really like. Although the chicken wings aren't as good as Chi Mac's, the combination of fries and wings is delicious.

DupBop
This place was set in what used to be a home trailer and it was very lively. The chicken katsu that I had was good but it was the sauce that made it so memorable - tangy and a combination of sour and sweet.

Pho Than Brothers
I finished this entire bowl of pho, which I can never do, so Pho Than Brothers is really just that good. Their brisket had just the right amount of red meat and the broth was perfect after a cold day.

Korean Tofu House
I usually prefer the Korean food my mom makes at home over Korean restaurants but this place might be the new exception. The side dishes were excellent and the soondubu had the perfect amount of spice.

University Teriyaki
The taste of the food reminded me of another Japanese restaurant I've been to a lot. I liked the pork much more than the chicken, but their so-called "bakery" was quite disappointing.
